Georgian Townhouse, Bath
A stone’s throw from the Royal Crescent and sitting just above 8 Holland Street Gallery, this colourful first-floor kitchen within an archetypically Georgian house, provides the perfect backdrop for curated artwork, textiles, and design pieces. The design brief was for the room to be ‘simple yet striking’, incorporating all kitchen necessaries, and painted in our ‘Pretty Pickle’. Time-honored antique brass knobs complement the worktable, hand painted in dusky ‘Nicotine’ with sturdy drawers for storing pots, pans, tea towels, and packets, topped with an oiled oak worktop. An ideal spot for a morning artisan coffee and read of the paper, or for spending lazy afternoons rustling up a classic dish or multifarious feast.
